Reverend Pastor Isaac Ngongo Kyoso serves as Chairperson of the Board of Humanitarian Action for Africa (HAA), bringing over 19 years of experience in leadership, governance, community development, education, and pastoral ministry. His professional journey reflects a strong commitment to advancing human dignity, strengthening locally-led initiatives, and promoting sustainable social transformation.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, which has equipped him with solid expertise in institutional governance, public policy dynamics, and strategic organizational oversight. Through his multidisciplinary background, he contributes to strengthening accountability systems, ethical leadership practices, and long-term institutional vision within humanitarian and development contexts.
As a Reverend Pastor and respected faith leader, he has dedicated his life to promoting peace, social cohesion, justice, and inclusive community engagement. His pastoral experience has enabled him to develop strong skills in dialogue facilitation, mediation, and community mobilization, particularly in fragile and crisis-affected environments.
In addition to his spiritual leadership, Reverend Kyoso is also an experienced educator and professor, actively involved in mentoring young leaders and supporting capacity-building initiatives for grassroots actors. His passion for knowledge transfer and leadership development has contributed to empowering emerging changemakers and fostering locally driven solutions to development challenges.
Within Humanitarian Action for Africa, he plays a strategic role in guiding the organization’s governance and institutional growth, strengthening partnerships, and promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, and service. His visionary and values-based leadership supports HAA’s ambition to scale its impact, enhance credibility with national and international stakeholders, and contribute meaningfully to humanitarian response, resilience building, and sustainable development in the Democratic Republic of Congo and beyond.
